Ultrasonography

Our digital ultrasound machine captures images of hearts and other internal organs using sound waves. These images can be transmitted via the internet to board-certified specialists who provide an expert interpretation within hours. We also rountinely use ultrasound for stat assessments of critical patients.

In the image above, Dr. Thrall performs an Ultrasound exam while a vet tech assistant gently restrains the patient.

Ultrasonography can be used to detect a wide variety of problems, from abnormal heart function to urinary bladder stones and tumors.
